The Erasmus+ project SEED: “Capacity building for Sustainable community-based Enterprise Development” has officially started on January 1, 2025, and will run until December 31, 2027. Led by Maynooth University (MU), Ireland, SEED unites seven partners from Europe and Africa to enhance the resilience of communities in Malawi and Zambia through innovative, climate-responsive micro-credential courses.


The consortium includes Maynooth University (MU), IE; University of Naples Federico II (UNINA), IT; Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires (IHF), BE; Mzuzu University (MZU), MW; University of Livingstonia (Unilia), MW; Mulungushi University (MUL), ZM; and Kwame Nkrumah University (KNU), ZM.
IHF Europe leads the project’s Quality Assurance and Dissemination, ensuring strong university-society connections and alignment with EU education frameworks.
